Haniya also works extensively with individuals, assisting them in such matters as the purchasing and selling of real estate, preparing Wills, Powers of Attorney and Representation Agreements as well as obtaining Grants of Probate and handling estate administration.

Haniya also assists clients with the preparation of documents, including commercial leases, consulting agreements, distribution agreements, licensing agreements and manufacturing agreements.

Lending & Financing

Haniya has acted for both lenders and borrowers. Her clients include banks, credit unions, individuals refinancing their homes, start-up businesses obtaining their initial funding and mature businesses expanding their existing credit facilities to meet their growth needs.

Haniya has acted for land developers as well as individuals creating smaller subdivisions.

Haniya has advised clients on numerous types of business structures, including incorporations, partnerships and joint ventures. Her practice also includes preparing and advising on corporate reorganizations, shareholders agreements, partnership agreements and joint venture agreements. Haniya has significant experience in succession planning combined with estate planning.

Haniya assists clients with all matters of estate planning, from simple Wills, Powers of Attorney and Representation Agreements through to complex trusts and estate planning matters. Haniya acts for Executors in obtaining Grants of Probate and Administrators in obtaining Letters of Administration.

Haniya has acted for individuals, families, businesses and investors in their purchase, sale and refinancing of residential and commercial real estate. Haniya also advises owners and prospective owners of issues relating to their property, including easements, statutory rights of way, boundary issues as well as contractual disputes in the purchase and sale of real estate.
